Help your child get back to
a place of calm connection–

Let me guess...
“I’ve done this so many times with my child and it just doesn’t seem to stick”
“I know when push comes to shove, I’ll just cave and let him win because I don't have time to battle.”
“I am finding it hard to be patient when my kid is clawing my face and hurting me.”
“I want them to have healthy feelings, but it feels like it’s gotten out of control.”
“How do I give them space for their feelings without being permissive?”
“How do I get my child to do something without them being upset?”
“If I don’t punish them, how will they learn?”

There is undoubtedly a lot of parenting content out there about tantrums, lots of scripts, lots of “rules” and lots of shame. I have found that most of these methods fail to take into account the actual brain science of a tantrum as well as each individual child’s experience and their relationship with you, their safe person.
I’m a clinical psychologist and a mom of 2 toddlers, so I’m right there in the tantrum trenches with you!
In my practice I work with kids whose struggles range from a touch of anxiety to severe and debilitating issues that make dysregulation a frequent occurrence in their lives. And I have seen this strategy work across that entire range of emotional and behavioral dysregulation.
That’s because this is a framework (not a one-size-fits-all script) that meets every child exactly where they’re at in this moment. It’s giving parents tools to understand their unique child and be able to be attuned with that child, no matter how big their dysregulation gets. And that’s why you want a course like this from a psychologist and not someone that just knows how to handle the easy cases.
A psychologist designed framework that teaches you the brain science of a tantrum so you have the exact tools for responding in the moment and reducing tantrums overtime
You will learn exactly what is happening in your child’s brain and body when they are experiencing a tantrum so you can respond with attunement and accuracy. This module will teach you how to be fluent in reading your unique child’s signs of dysregulation.
module 1
Learn the most important first step in helping to calm your child: your calm body and affect. In this module, you will learn strategies for understanding why you’re triggered and how to dismantle those triggers in the moment so you can be a calm presence for your child, which in turn helps calm your child’s dysregulation.
module 2
In this module, you will learn how to use your physiological calm to communicate safety to your child’s threat detectors and help them to build distress tolerance and emotional resilience. You will learn the how and the why behind a range of coregulation strategies so you can tailor your approach to your unique child.
module 3
Here’s where you’re going to learn specific and actionable strategies for effective discipline, teaching values, and helping children learn cause and effect–all without punishments, threats, bribes, or sticker charts. We’ll also cover what to do if/when we lose it with our kids in this module (because we’re human too).
module 4
In this module, we cover all the different ways to set you and your child up for success outside of the hot moments. We will cover how to create environments that build self regulation, increase cooperation and participation in family life, and reduce power struggles.
module 5
Learn about some of the most challenging emotions (for kids and for parents) and how we can respond to these emotions in ways that support mental wellness and healthy coping so we can give our kids the tools they need to thrive throughout life.
module 6
Feel less activated by your child’s activation, be less flooded and frazzled and frantic when they're in the throes of a tantrum.
Be able to access the tools that really work in that moment, instead of the tools you think you're “supposed” to use to help them calm their bodies down, reestablish a sense of safety, and reduce the intensity, frequency, and duration of tantrums over time.
I’ve taken tantrum workshops in the past, what makes this course different?
Okay, equipping me with a framework for exactly how to respond before, during and after my child’s tantrum sounds pretty great. But how do you know this really works?
I know this strategy works for your patients and with your own children, but my child has ADHD, sensory issues, or is neurodivergent, is this course still relevant for me?
I’m a parent - so life is busy! How long is this course?
How can I justify the cost of this course?
I’ve taken tantrum workshops in the past, what makes this course different?
Most tantrum workshops focus on behavior–how to make your child start or stop behaving a certain way. The problem with this is it’s short-sighted. You may solve one specific problem, but you aren’t addressing your child’s dysregulation as a whole or teaching them the capacity to self-regulate. And so the next time you hit a roadblock, you’ll be back looking for more solutions.
This course isn’t just another one of those quick fix behavior modification strategies. I won’t be suggesting sticker charts, rewards or punishments. Instead I will provide you with a long term framework that can guide you as you navigate dysregulation in your child and in yourself. I’ll teach you how to rewire your child’s brain, creating new neural pathways that will allow them the ability to access emotion regulation skills, increasing their ability to calm themselves and leading to fewer and less intense tantrums.

Okay, equipping me with a framework for exactly how to respond before, during and after my child’s tantrum sounds pretty great. But how do you know this really works?
I’m a clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience and a mom of 2 strong-willed toddlers myself - so I am right there with you! I spend all day and night, between my “therapy job” and in my “mom job,'' working to stay regulated myself, teaching my clients the skills to stay calm, coaching parents on how to combat dysregulation, and helping my kids manage their big feelings.
Over the years I’ve honed a strategy that I’ve seen firsthand work with everyone from developmentally typical children to those with the most severe cases of behavioral and emotional disorders.
I know this works because I’ve seen it work. Time and time again.

I know this strategy works for your patients and with your own children, but my child has ADHD, sensory issues, or is neurodivergent, is this course still relevant for me?
Absolutely! Because this course isn’t concentrated solely on behaviors, but zooms out and addresses the interplay between parents’ and childrens’ calm and regulated nervous systems as a whole, this content is applicable to all humans.
The focus of this course is on building your knowledge and skillset as a parent, equipping you with effective and healthy ways of increasing your child’s capacity to regulate. It’s not about asking your child to either do or not do something that may not be developmentally appropriate for them. (And let’s face it, getting tantrums to stop without having to ask anything of your child sounds like a win-win, right?)
No matter where a child falls developmentally, this course is designed to allow you to meet them there.

I’m a parent - so life is busy! How long is this course?
That’s what I’m here for. I’ve carefully curated and designed this course to provide you with all the information you need, so you don’t have to spend countless hours pouring over data and searching for answers.
The course is two and a half hours long, strategically split into 6 short sections–so you can break it up however is most convenient for you.
Binge it in one sitting or split it up over a coupe of days, either way you’ll start seeing results right away!

How can I justify the cost of this course?
Investing in a course is a commitment and I recognize that.
While you can take the course in a day, the application of these skills is a lifelong process. It will affect the way you show up as a parent and the harmony in your household for years to come. So if you divide the price by every day it helps you, all of a sudden it seems pretty cheap.
Plus, (I can’t help geeking out on the psychology!) making a purchase helps people stay committed! When we spend money on something we automatically assign it value and are more likely to be accountable to investing time and energy into a process that we also invested money into.
Think of it this way, for less than half the cost of a one on one parenting coaching session with me you can go to bed every night feeling fully confident in your ability to handle your child’s tantrums.
